Part of a series of paintings documenting the walks around my home in the South Downs.
The footpath up to Brinksole between Petworth and Byworth in West Sussex. A path beween two fields, walking between two worlds. I walk this regularly and feel a disconnect between being prevented from walking freely and being guided safely between two worlds.
